Our apartment is located right in the centre of the charming medieval hill-top town, San Gimignano. The town is famous all over the world for the skyline of its medieval towers and it is ideally located in the heart of the Chianti region.
San Gimignano is surrounded by gorgeous countryside, with valleys and hills covered with vineyards, olive groves and woodland. Siena, Florence and all the other main art towns of Tuscany are easily accessible thanks to the nearby road and rail links in Poggibonsi.
We are located in the main street of the historical centre of San Gimignano, Via San Matteo, inside the city walls. We are at 50mt from the gate of San Matteo, the Northern entrance gate of the town. A short walk to the beautiful squares of the medieval town and its imposing towers. At the gate of via San Matteo you can find the nearest bus stop to local cities like Siena, Florence and Volterra.
We are a short walk from the main squares of the city and countless architectural works, including the beautiful Romanesque cathedral, il Duomo. San Gimignano is located in a strategic position to explore the surroundings and the main cities of art in Tuscany, such as Siena (34 km). Florence (49 km), Volterra (30 km), Pisa (90 km), Colle Val D'Elsa (10 km), Monteriggioni (20 km) and Montalcino (90 km), which can easily be visited in one full day.
Of particular interest is the scenic Chianti Classico (30 km) with the ancient villages of Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti Greve in Chianti and the Crete Senesi (40 km) with Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano.
The apartment faces on our lovely patio, a nice quiet corner to enjoy your stay peacefully.
You can find free and fast wifi free everywhere.
We provide useful information on free parking areas at 5 to 10 minutes by foot from the apartment.
We also provide discounts for local restaurants and a map with all the information to enjoy your stay in San Gimignano at its fullest.
On request, we can provide pick up service to and from Pisa and Florence airports or from Pisa/Florence/Poggibonsi's train stations.
Within walking distance you can find duty-free shops, bakeries, bars, restaurants, two chemists, newsagents, two tobacconists, grocery shops, a library, wash and dry, wine cellars and hairdressers.
Daily cleaning service is provided on request for free, as well as a sustainable soaps, terry towels and a hair dryer.

Beautiful location in San Gimignano! The owner was so attentive and provided great suggestions for our visit. Charming apartment that serviced all of are needs. Boboli bakery (25 yards from apartment) is amazing and a must! Enjoyable stay!

Nous avons séjourné dans un endroit complètement magnifique représentatif de la ville de San Gimignano tout près des portes de la ville. Nous avion accès à la cours intérieure qui était enchanteur. L’hôte nous a donné d’excellentes références pour les restaurants et nous a aussi inscrite à une dégustation de vin et d’huile d’olive

This place was exactly as advertised and the pictures don’t do it justice—it is so lovely and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Perfect central location and helpful details for parking were much appreciated. The history of the home and the graciousness of the hostess were bonuses.
